What to watch online and on DVD...

This is your last chance to finally catch up with Game Of Thrones and Breaking Bad, if you've spent the last six months hopelessly out of the loop on every conversation people were having. But there are plenty of other gems available. Netflix boast the likes of the exclusive Arrested Development and Orange Is The New Black, both of which (belatedly, in Arrested Development's case) more than justified the hype.

Season 2 of House Of Cards, featuring Kevin Spacey as the reptilian Congressman Francis Underwood, returns in February, so now is the perfect time to recap the first season.

If, on the other hand, you want a box set to complete in one or two sittings, nothing can beat the classic Band Of Brothers box set which features 10 episodes plus a host of extras. Even the most committed pacifist will find themselves engrossed in the world of Easy Company in what still stands as the single greatest TV miniseries ever made.

You have a day to completely flop out?

Band Of Brothers is still the one to watch.

Have a good 'un.
