Mary's Silver Service

Channel 4, 8pm

Mary Portas (right) returns with a new series in which she launches a special employment agency for Britain's undervalued pensioners, and this week an ad for caterers is replied to by a 68-year-old former head barman at the Savoy Hotel, and a 91-year-old cook.

For No Good Reason

Sky Atlantic, 9pm

Johnny Depp (right with Steadman) narrates Charlie Paul's documentary on the life and work of Ralph Steadman, the brilliant illustrator who enjoyed a partnership and adventures with Hunter S. Thompson, and also provided cover designs for Flann O'Brien.

BBC2, 10pm

When Matt decides to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he's outraged when he's scheduled as only the second guest. And Merc isn't happy either when he turns up to pitch new programme ideas to Carol and finds that Castor's absent. Matt LeBlanc (right) stars.
