Benefits Street

Channel 4, 10.00pm

This documentary series set in a Birmingham street has been called poverty porn by one commentator but gives a fascinating insight into the lives of families entirely dependent on the state. Next week's final episode will be followed by a live debate.

celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Chris Tarrant returns with the first of two farewell episodes, as guests Gloria Hunniford, Russell Kane (both right), Adrian Chiles, Frank Skinner, Alexandra Burke and David Emanuel play for charity.

Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans

UTV, 9.00pm

In the final episode, Paul (right) travels to Africa in search of more orphaned animals. In Zambia he meets a baby hippo called Douglas, and in South Africa he hears about a baby giraffe called Melmin who's being rehabilitated.


RTE Two, 9.55pm

Problems mount for Emily Thorne this week as Daniel's attentions drift elsewhere, Conrad reveals that Grayson Manor has been sold, and two of the most important people in her life begin to turn on her. Starring Barry Sloane (right) and Emily VanCamp.
