In this series, comedian Des Bishop (right) travels to Beijing to spend a year learning Mandarin before he attempts to perform a stand-up routine in Chinese. In part one, Des meets his host family and goes swimming in a frozen lake.

This new series explores the hidden world of high-end pawnbroking by going behind the scenes at a Surrey-based company which prides itself on loaning money against anything, and has handled everything from a Ferrari to a yellow submarine.

Far Out Isn't Enough: the tomi ungerer story

Brad Bernstein's documentary examines Tomi Ungerer (right), whose career as the creator of children's books like 'The Three Robbers' and 'Moon Man' was paralleled by the production of pornography.


Sky One, 9.00pm

New series starring Josh Holloway (right) as Gabriel Vaughn, an intelligence agent who's had a super-computer microchip implanted in his brain that allows him to instantly access the global information grid as he combats terrorism. With PJ Byrne.
