Sharon Osbourne to return to the X Factor for judges’ houses as Sinitta dropped
FORMER X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne will join Irish judge Louis Walsh at the judges’ houses phase of the competition, it has been reported.
The news comes as it has been revealed that 80s pop star Sinitta, a regular feature of the judges’ houses phase of the competition, has been dropped by Simon Cowell.
Sinitta would usually join Simon Cowell at his home when he tried to pick his acts for the live shows – last year she joined Louis Walsh.
However Cowell is believed to have fallen out with SInitta over her refusal to sign a confidentiality agreement with the show to keep behind the scenes details of the show secret.
"Sinitta is extremely disappointed because she felt she would always be a central part of the show after so many years," a source explained to the Daily Mail.
"Even though she remains close friends with Simon, she's one of the few people who is prepared to tell him where to go. That's exactly what she did."
Sharon Osbourne will now return to the X Factor and join Louis Walsh, who she has remained close friends with since exiting the show.
She recently announced she would be leaving ‘America’s Got Talent’ and tweeted that she wished to return to the X Factor as a permanent judge.
The X Factor returns to TV3 tomorrow night.
