Shane Lynch heading for BBC's Celebrity Masterchef
Boyzone singer Shane will be battling it out against other famous faces in the Masterchef kitchen.
The former boybander will be facing Sugababes' Heidi Range, Jo Wood, the ex-wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and consumer broadcaster Janet Street-Porter on the hit BBC show.
Shane will be facing stiff competition against 15 other contestants, all of whom will be facing six challenges over the course of two days, vying for a place in the finals over its six-week run.
The set-up will see four groups of four different celebrities competing in heats each Wednesday and Thursday night before facing guest judges, as well as the regular panel of John Torode and Gregg Wallace, in the quarter final on Friday night.
Carla-Maria Lawson, executive producer with BBC, said: "The return of Celebrity MasterChef to this BBC One peak time slot sees thrills and spills and some extraordinary cooking from our line-up of well known faces.
"In this series, the contestants enthusiasm in their pursuit of the MasterChef trophy is palpable, often inspiring and sometimes very very funny."
Other celebrities featuring on the series include comedian Ade Edmondson and Olympian Phillips Idowu.
