Ronan Keating has put a halt to rumours that he will be taking part in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The 37-year-old singer quashed rumours of his involvement in a Twitter post earlier today.

Keating wrote: “Love all the chat about me and Big Brother. Please know I am not in talks with anyone regarding this. Nor will I be.”

The Boyzone singer set the internet alight when he posted a tweet a few weeks ago about the hit reality TV programme.

He captioned a picture of him on a black carpet holding a bottle of juice; “Day 2 in the Big Brother House.”

The artist refused to answer fans asking him if he was joining this year’s group in the infamous house until now.

Other celebrities thought to be taking part in the new series, which starts on Thursday, include Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst and N-Dubs star Dappy.

The Dublin born singer has recently hit the big screen as the singing voice of the animated Postman Pat.
