Pamela Flood ready to make switch from TV
Former RTÉ star Pamela Flood has revealed that she will consider a change in career if no TV presenting work comes her way.
The Dubliner is enjoying her role as a stay-at-home mum to nine-week-old daughter Elsie and toddler son Harrison (two).
After taking a step back in recent years, the glamorous blonde is hoping to resurrect her career when she starts to look for work opportunities later next year.
"I am making the most of being a mum at the moment and I absolutely adore it, but I will have to start looking for more work next year," Pamela told the Herald.
After welcoming two children at a later stage in life than she had expected, the 42-year-old is now adopting a c'est la vie attitude to life and says she will take work wherever and when it is necessary.
"I haven't thought about what else I would do, but it doesn't have to be TV.
"God knows what it will be, but I think I would be prepared for a lot of things and I will go where there is a market for me."
Pamela will walk down memory lane today when she joins the set of the Christmas broadcast of TV3 afternoon show Late Lunch Live.
Pamela will get into the festive spirit in the Gibson Hotel where she will join presenters Lucy Kennedy and Martin King on the couch as a celebrity guest alongside the likes of former X Factor star Mary Byrne and Dublin GAA hero Bernard Brogan.
