Nicole Scherzinger faces backlash over controversial inclusion of Rylan Clarke in X Factor final three
NICOLE Scherzinger found herself at the centre of online controversy last night after she decided to include contestant Rylan Clarke as one of her contestants for the live shows.
She picked the flamboyant Essex singer over Adam Burridge, Jake Quickenden and Nathan Fagan-Gayle.
Viewers saw Clarke perform Rihanna’s hit ‘We found love’ on Saturday night in front of guest judge Ne-Yo, who struggled to contain laughter.
One Twitter user said: “Was Nicole Scherzinger ordered to put Rylan Clarke through to the finals? It's either that or she's as tone deaf as he is. #xfactor”
Another said: “Rylan Clarke doesn't deserve his place! Itv shouldn't force judges to put acts through for entertainment purposes!”
While another angry Twitter user said: “i honestly feel sick to my stomach, no words to describe how mad I am that rylan clarke made it to live shows”
Ella Henderson is currently the bookies favourite to win the 2012 edition of the talent show, followed closely bty Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur.
