Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams has revealed the success of the cult series is 'daunting'.

Williams (17) stars as Arya Stark in the fantasy drama and uses her downtime to explore her feminine side.

She recently posted a photo of herself trying out a new, dramatic makeup look in the vein of fellow teenage superstar - Lorde.

"Good Lorde, I have far too much time on my hands...*slow clap," she wrote, accompanied by the photo, highlighting the strong resemblance.

Meanwhile, the English actress has revealed the gradual success of the show helped her and felloy young cast members to adjust to their growing fame.

"The success didn't happen overnight," she said of the show which airs on Sky Atlantic and HBO.

"It happened gradually, which was great for the younger members of the cast to get used to."

"The success has happened really gradually, the viewing figures keep going up and up and people are catching up with the box sets now, it's really great, but also really daunting."

She joined the cast at the age of 12 which left her unfazed as she went unrecognised for the first two seasons.

"I'm not that cool but it's nice to pretend to be that cool," she said. "I have the whole world fooled."
