ACTOR Tom Vaughan-Lawlor is unconcerned about the fate of his character 'King Nidge' in the next series of 'Love/ Hate'.

Vaughan-Lawlor said he would simply "get over and get on with it" if writer Stuart Carolan decided to kill his character off.

"You just have to suck it up," he told the Irish Independent.

"That's the nature of being an actor and the nature of being in a recurring TV show about gangs, murder and drugs. You get on with it.

"It's the life of an actor; you are heavily employed one minute and not at all the next. You just roll with the punches," he said.

The fifth series will go into production next week and Vaughan-Lawlor believes it will be the strongest series to date.

The renowned actor was talking at the launch of the 2014 Cinemagic Film and Television Festival for Young People.
