Lock up your daughters – Frankie Cocozza to host ‘Super Sweet 16’
X FACTOR bad boy Frankie Cocozza will host a special edition of MTV’s ‘Super Sweet 16’, the station has announced.
Cocozza will front a one off edition of the show, ‘Super Sweet 16 UK vs US’, which has been billed by the station as an “ultimate transatlantic party clash.”
The Brighton native will present the show which will pit the “UK's most privileged princesses against the demanding divas from the US”.
Cocozza was kicked off the last series of the X Factor after it was alleged he had taken drugs in the contestant’s house. Prior to his dismissal he had been one of the early favourites to take the prize after revealing a tattoo of a girl’s name on his bum during his audition.
After leaving X Factor he went on to appear on Channel 5’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother.’ On the show he spoke about his desire to become a TV presenter, claiming he aspired to be the next George Lamb.
‘Super Sweet 16’ has been a huge hit for MTV. It sees spoilt teenagers plan a lavish birthday party, usually with no spending limits set by their wealthy parents. MTV shot an Irish episode of the show in Dundalk.
The Frankie Cocozza fronted ‘Super Sweet 16 UK vs US’ airs on Sunday, April 22 at 12pm on MTV.
