Lindsay Lohan gets soaked during water fight with Jimmy Fallon
For once, it's not Lindsay Lohan's fault she looked like a mess on live tv.
The starlet was appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and it wasn’t long before she was soaked in a water fight showdown with the host.
Jimmy brought over his popular segment 'Water War' from his Late Night show and wasn’t going to take it easy on the Hollywood star.
‘‘This is just like the card game War but with water so if you lose a hand, you get splashed in the face with this nice ice cold water,’’ the much-loved presenter told the audience.
As the audience erupted into laughter, the actress made a tiny squeal at the thought of the chilly water.
Each player had five glasses of water and the first one to throw all of their water in the other person’s face won.
The stars had to turn over cards and whoever won the hand got to fling a glass of water over their opponent.
‘‘My heart’s beating so fast. I want to take a before and after selfie of this,’’ declared Lindsay.
The pair posed for a picture before all the water fun began.
As the game kicked off, Lindsay was the first player to loose and pleaded with the chat show host, ‘‘Just get it over with’’ as he raised the glass in anticipation to thrust it at her.
The audience clapped and cheered as each player got drenched, with Lindsay emerging as the final winner.
This meant she got revenge on Jimmy using the ‘‘water cannon,’’ a giant super soaker, but not before pouring water all over the presenter’s crotch.
She blasted Jimmy with the powerful water gun, much to the amusement of the excited crowd.
The Hollywood starlet appeared on the show in a powdery pink dress which glistened with silver embroidery running through it.
She teamed the elegant ensemble with pumps and loopy earrings, her wrists were brimming with gold and black bracelets.
Luckily for her, she opted for a natural make-up look which meant that thick black make-up didn’t stream down her face after the water wars.
The actress was promoting her reality show Lindsay which will premiere on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN on Sunday.
‘‘They picked the first two months when I got back to New York after treatment and I got really spiritual,’’ she said about the filming of the new show.
