Janet sings her way into final five on 'X Factor'
IRISH singer Janet Devlin is through to the final five in this year's 'X Factor'.
However, the 17-year-old schoolgirl from Gortin, Co Tyrone, had to endure a nail-biting wait to learn her fate with her name called fourth out of the four safe acts.
The two singers who logged the fewest votes were Amelia Lily and Craig Colton and they were forced into the 'final showdown', with Craig eventually being eliminated.
Both had been tipped as possible overall winners of the show.
Janet had spoken previously about how she became ill for several days from stress following negative feedback from the judges -- including being branded "boring" by judge Gary Barlow.
However, she bounced back with a note-perfect rendition of 'Kiss Me' on the Hollywood-themed show at the weekend.
Mr Barlow said she had stepped up her game.
