Gordon Ramsey series saves just two restaurants in first two series
THE Gordon Ramsey series which set out to save struggling restaurants has saved just two of the 21 featured on the show – a 90.5pc failure rate.
The celebrity chef’s show proved popular with viewers in the US, however not with eaters, who continued to shun the establishments featured.
The figures, complied by Radar online, show however that after the first two series the show’s success rate improved.
In season three and four the foul-mouthed chef visited 23 restaurants, with only 13 of them now closed.
The site reports that the fourth and fifth had a combined success rate of 77pc.
