Glee set to go on without Cory
Glee, the show which made Cory Monteith a household name, is set to go on without its star.
The show’s writers have already started working on how they can write the show’s star out of the next series, according to a celebrity website.
A source close to the production told TMZ that the writers have already held an emergency meeting: “Glee is definitely not canceled. If you look at the dollars and cents of the show and that it was very much an ensemble with new kids being added last year when some graduated. It’s clear that the show wasn’t about one character."
Monteith, 31, was found dead in his hotel in Vancouver on Saturday. The post mortem examination yesterday revealed the actor died from a heroin and alcohol overdose.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the star’s body has already been cremated after a private viewing with his family and girlfriend Lea Michele.
Michele, 26, who starred alongside Monteith in Glee, had been dating the actor for over a year.
