The X Factor rumour mill is churning once again, this time with Laura Whitmore’s name in the running for a place on the talent show.

The Bray girl has been reported to replace Caroline Flack on X-Factor spin-off show ‘The Xtra Factor’.

Following in Flack’s footsteps, Laura previously replaced the British presenter on ‘I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!’ companion show.

Laura, who is fast becoming a big name on the showbusiness circuit, co-hosted the IFTAs with Dublin actor Simon Delaney.

With major changes inside the X Factor camp, it also seems Flack’s co-presenter Matt Richardson could be leaving the show for former contestant Rylan to take over, The Mirror reports.

The jury is also still out on who will take the remaining judge’s seat as Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh take up their positions to criticise showbiz hopefuls.
