FILMING on the new series of hit MTV reality show ‘Geordie Shore’ has been halted after two of its stars were arrested following a nightclub brawl.

Vicky Pattinson and Holly Hagan were in a club in Newcastle with a film crew during shooting for the new series when the altercation took place, according to The Sun.

Witnesses say the two became involved in a dispute with a model, with the 18-year-old allegedly being hit in the face with a stiletto.

Eye witnesses told the paper the model left the club with blood streaming down her face.

The two stars of the show were arrested and held in a police cell overnight, and have been removed from the show pending the outcome of a police inquiry.

However a representative for Holly Hagen strenuously denies she was involved with any violence.

The new series of ‘Geordie Shore’, which was shot in Australia, makes its debut on MTV next week.

The current series being filmed will be broadcast in the winter, with filming expected to continue without Hagen and Pattinson.
