Does Kim Kardashian want to leave family reality show?
Kim Kardashian reportedly wants to "break away" from her KUWTK TV show.
The reality star and her family are the focus of hit programme Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kim and her boyfriend Kanye West recently welcomed their first child, daughter North, into the world.
Since becoming a mother it is thought the raven-haired beauty is keen to step back from the limelight and raise her daughter away from the camera. She is also reportedly planning to move to a secret location where she can't be filmed.
"You won't be seeing North even once on the new season. Kim decided no way is she going to be part of this circus," a source told New York Daily News' Confidenti@l. "Kim doesn't want to film this show anymore. She's changing her image and breaking away from the family. She'll be moving into her house, but doesn't want the cameras inside her new house."
Kim this week completed shooting the Christmas special of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but insiders say she is looking to move on now.
Kim recently dropped her long-time publicist Jill Fritzo and replaced her with Ina Treciokas, who represents celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker. After Jill worked with Katie Holmes to help bring her into the fashion world, Kim apparently hopes she can undergo a similar transformation and break into the world of fashion.
"With Ina, Kim's goal is to be transformed from a weekly magazine star to a monthly magazine star. She wants to be a fashion icon and off these weeklies that delve into her personal life. The one thing she wants more than anything is the cover of Vogue," the source added.
This move is thought to have hurt her siblings and mother Kris, who has taken on lots of business and press-related work for the family.
Season eight of Keeping Up with the Kardashians began in June and will continue through this month.
It is also thought Kim's sister Khloé will be absent from the next series due to her troubled marriage to Lamar Odom and his alleged crack cocaine use.
