DJ Pat Sharp accuses Sinitta of 'milking it'
DJ PAT Sharp has begun to turn on his fellow I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants and blasted Sinitta for "wimping around".
The former mullet-haired presenter lost his temper following Sinitta's poor performances in bringing meals into camp after her bushtucker trials as she struggles with her fear of creepy crawlies.
And the sharp-tongued Smooth Radio host has now suggested she is "milking" her fears to make a name for herself.
Sharp told fellow campers including actress Crissy Rock, Mark Wright and Dougie Poynter: "I think there's a bit of 'Ooooh look at me': she's not stupid, and she knows how the world works.
"She's milking it. She might have tried her best but it just wasn't good enough. It's about mentality. You are either strong minded or you are not.
"I would not enjoy any of the things she's had to endure but I would still not look like a moron doing them."
To silence from the others, Sharp added: "She looks ridiculous. She's wimping around on this show."
Viewers saw Sinitta struggle through a live trial last night winning just five meals for the 12 celebrities in the ITV1 show.
Sharp also lambasted contestant Lorraine Chase for being "too nice" and for cuddling her teddy bear.
Sharp has also been vocal about Wright and Poynter's lack of knowledge.
And he said he did not care what viewers thought of his outbursts and comments about the other stars.
"I'm just being honest. I don't care if everyone hates me for it; they can kick me out," he said.
"I don't care if people write me a letter and say I shouldn't have said things about them on the show. I don't give a flying f***."
However, Sinitta has said she was pleased with her efforts: "I'm quite proud of myself even though I'm not coming back with a meal for everyone. I feel good, happy and elated because something is happening."
Sharp will face his first Bushtucker Trial today after he was chosen by the public to receive a "headtrip".
He will have to endure a number of bugs and insects crawling over his face during the trial.
Sharp responded to the news he had been picked by saying: "Fabulous."
Ladies' man Wright has been continuing to flirt with newcomer, Aussie model Emily Scott.
He has suggested they should share a bed together to cosy up for the night.
"Why not get in the hammock with me and we'll have a cuddle? We'll try and make it cosy," he told her.
But glamour girl Scott turned him down, saying they would not fit in one together.
A less welcome visitor arrived at Wright's bed when a huge python slithered into the camp and was seen killing a rodent under his hammock.
Security staff had to step in to ensure the safety of the stars after the 1.5 metre carpet python was spotted as Wright and his blue team camp-mates tried to settle down to sleep.
The contestants were said to have been left "terrified" by the visitor.
Wright at first thought he had spotted a rat. But on closer inspection he noticed the creature was being suffocated by the snake.
"Oh my God Dougie, there's a snake eating a rat," he shrieked.
Poynter responded: "I'm scared what can I do?"
Security then stepped in to capture the snake and moved it to another section of the jungle. The "rat" was later found to be a bandicoot.
