Bremner gets the boot from Strictly

Rory Bremner is the latest Strictly Come Dancing contestant to be eliminated after Sunday night's results show on BBC One.

The voters and judges of Strictly Come Dancing had the last laugh as Rory Bremner failed to make a good impression and voted off the BBC1 show.

The comedian and his partner Erin Boag found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard against Nancy Dell'Olio and Anton Du Beke - who were there for the second week in a row - in last night's show.

But after their Cha Cha Cha to the song Dance to the Music, Bremner found himself the butt of the joke, described by Bruno Tonioli as a "cocky rooster chasing a hen around the yard", while Len Goodman said: "You're like the Government: there's a lot going on and not all of it is good."
