AXED X Factor band MK1 hit out at two of their former competitors during a radio interview yesterday.

The urban act, who were voted off the show after a deadlock decision on Sunday, were speaking to Sarah Jane Crawford on her Radio 1Xtra show yesterday.

Sim told the host about Christopher Maloney: “Chris has a tendency of being a little bit of a diva – but he’s a cool guy”.

When host Crawford made a joke about Maloney having an unreasonable list of demands for a latte, Charlie added: “I never actually saw it, but I wouldn’t put it past him”.

It was reported last week that the wildcard contestant had to be pulled in by producers and given a warning over his behaviour backstage after a heated argument with a member of the production crew.

Meanwhile Sim said about Lucy Spraggan: “Lucy Spraggan had so many bad days and it was hard to try and connect and talk to her.”

Charlie added: “She sounded a bit grumpy. Don’t get me wrong – she’s talented. But a smile wouldn’t go amiss, if you know what I’m saying.”
