Most male Dubliners count a quick shower and shave as the extent of their ‘beauty regime’.

Twenty-three-year-old Jeremy McConnell Cooke, however, puts a little bit more time and effort into his.

He has a haircut and manicure booked on a weekly basis, he regularly tans and gets his eyebrows threaded and he keeps a powder compact at hand at all times.

For Jeremy, who used to date model Holly Carpenter, looking good is his number one priority.

So it makes sense that the part-time model is representing Ireland in MTV’s brand new ‘Beauty School Cop Outs’.

He said he wants to join the beauty school gang as he knows he can’t model forever and he needs to find a new ‘stomping ground’ as he has slept with all the models in Ireland.

Jeremy will join eight other appearance-obsessed people for the new show which starts tonight.

The contestants will be filmed as they learn the basics of beauty careers in a plush salon in Manchester.

They will also share a house Geordie Shore-style where their post-work antics will be filmed.

'Beauty School Cop Outs' starts tonight (Tuesday) at 10pm on MTV.
