YouTube prankster pretends to kill own child to prank wife

Clare Cullen

YouTube prankster Roman Atwood has made his name through pranking unsuspecting victims, but it seems he might have met his match.

They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned but it would appear that hell hath no fury like a wife who has just been tricked into thinking you threw her child off a balcony.

Atwood carried out the prank using a life-size dummy of the child, dressed identically to his son.

He ensured that his wife saw him playing with his real son, dressed as Spiderman, before taking a dummy and 'accidentally' flinging it over the balcony.

His wife was not pleased when she realised the joke and Roman is visibly surprised by the strength of her reaction, sheepishly laughing "it was just a joke".

"That's not a joke!"

"You don't pretend you threw our son over the balcony!"

"Get away from me!"

Watch the video below.

The video has amassed over 5m views since it was posted just over three days ago.

Mrs Atwood has forgiven him though, as the behind the scenes aftermath video shows.

Atwood's wife is used to his pranks - he previously scored 52m views on YouTube when she turned the tables on him during an anniversary prank having spotted the camera.
