As Ireland gets to grips with the hottest day of the year – with temperatures to reach up to 30 degrees – this might just be the best 50c you’ll spend today.

Irish clothing chain Penneys is selling the perfect tool for anyone whose workplace isn't air conditioned.

These USB fans originally went on sale for €3.50 at the store. The price was then slashed to €1. They are now selling for 50 cents each, so we've stocked up.

Now is your time to get the best bargain for your heatwave survival kit.

What's your choice way to cool down in the heat? Are you heading to the beach, or camping out in an air-conditioned shopping centre? Or searching for Ireland's best 99 ice cream?
