RTE calls for teenage YouTube submissions for user-generated documentary
RTE are currently searching for 13-19 year olds to take part in their latest TV project, Life's Life This - a documentary shot entirely by the participants.
The show will focus on Friday, September 20th, and is asking for teens to submit videos of themselves throughout the day.
The project is filmed by all of its stars and comes together as one for Life's Like This, which features on the state broadcaster's Young People's programming show Life's Like This.
According to programme makers, "On Friday, the 20th of September, we want you to bust out all your phones, cameras, whatever amazing technology you can get your hands on and film two minutes of your life.
"Tell and show the world what you're doing, feeling or seeing on that particular day, whether you are down at the beach trying to make the summer last or meeting friends in that place you meet up every Friday.
"You could be on a roadtrip, on a date, getting ready to go out or working to save up for college.
"It doesn't matter what it is, where you are or what you do, just film it and send it in. If you make music, send that too for our soundtrack!"
Videos should only be two minutes long and can be shot on any kind of mobile device, or as they say, "I it records you can use it."
The deadline is September 23rd and parents must sign a permission slip if you're under 18.
