Three New Zealand radio hosts have gone viral after they brilliantly pranked their co-workers yesterday.

Fletch, Vaughan and Megan of Kiwi radio station ZM, enlisted the help of their boss and most of their colleagues to pull off the master prank.

They first got their boss to call their workmates Jase and PJ at 6.30am, telling them they had 30 minutes to get in and take over a show as the aforementioned trio had suddenly fallen ill.

The show then continued to broadcast as normal - but from a different studio.

Jase and PJ rushed into the office and proceeded to carry on with the show completely unprepared - but what they didn't realise was that they were broadcasting to no-one, except for what the real hosts allowed on air.

Throughout the show, they encouraged listeners to call in and give Jase and PJ a hard time - hilarity ensued as the two unprepared hosts struggled to maintain control of the show.

Finally, they set up a fake competition win and surprised the two bemused presenters with the news just after they thought they had given away $100,000.

The double act were relieved, exclaiming "Thank God! That was terrible radio!"

Watch the hilarious clip below and let us know - what's the best office prank you've ever pulled?
