Olivia Wilde uses 'breast milk' in Ice Bucket Challenge
Actress Olivia Wilde really milked her moment when she took part in the ice bucket challenge by swapping the recommended icy water in favour of what she claims to be her own breast milk.
Standing on a balcony overlooking the New York skyline, the new mother tells the camera, “I hope it’s okay, I couldn’t find any water so I’m going to use breast milk.”
“Took me all night to make this,” she adds before dumping the white milky fluid over her head.
After the challenge she exclaims, “It really is cold”.
The 30-year-old Tron: Legacy star then nominated US politician Cory Booker, feminist Gloria Steinem, and singer Prince to do the challenge.
Olivia, who has links to Ardmore in Co Waterford, has a four month son named Otis with her actor fiancé Jason Sudeikis.
In the most recent issue of Glamour magazine she was photographed breastfeeding baby Otis in a diner while dressed in a fancy dress and heels.
She told the magazine “it feels like Otis should always be on my breast” and “it’s the most natural thing”.
