Must watch: Man digs massive snow tunnel from home to car

Now this is one way of getting to your car.

A Canadian man dug a massive snow tunnel leading from his home to his car after 35 inches of snow fell on his driveway.

Marcel Landry, from Prince Edward Island, says it took him more than six hours to dig the tunnel, which measures almost 1.8 metres high. Landry said he had no intention of building the tunnel and he was just trying to find his car after the storm dumped 35 inches of snow.

A reporter asks,'what’s going on in here? We are in a tunnel of snow'.

To which Landry replies, 'Well yesterday during the storm I figured I have to shovel some snow out eventually, so instead of shovelling out the whole thing, leaving the wind to fill it back in. I just started digging in and in and in and eventually found the car.

There’s still about 3ft of snow above our heads. And there’s another car a few feet left of here, that I have yet to excavate.”

“How are you going to get these cars out?”

“That’s a good question, I was planning on digging around it, start it and drive it out - but we will see how it works.”
