A DUBLIN man has posted an advert on property website Daft seeking a female roommate to share his bed – and her body with him.

The ad, which has since been taken down, reads: “All my friends that I ran past the idea of what you’re about to read told me it’s crazy, weird and that it has no chance of success but I’m still going to do it, because... why not!?”

He goes on to say that he is looking for “broad-minded, smart, sexy, confident, unconventional and adventurous dames”.

He claims that he is a “Sexy, outspoken and laid-back gentlemen” and insists he is “not crazy by any means, maybe just a tad eccentric.”

The poster says that he has been living in the house with his 35-year-old brother for the last two and a half years.

They also live with a 26-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, according to the ad.

The cost of the accommodation, which is in Harold’s Cross in Dublin, will be €290 a month with a €290 deposit.

However he adds that the room is available for single occupancy at a cost of €580 for those who don’t “Fancy me and my social experiment.”
