Kilronan Castle in Roscommon have sent out a call on their Facebook page looking for the owner of 'Oscar', a teddy found in one of their linen bins.

The toy, whom they have christened Oscar for the time being, is a "cute and cuddly" monkey left behind by one of the guests.

Staff at the castle are making sure the small teddy is being "well looked after" while he waits for his owners to return.

Oscar has had the run of the luxury castle, including free spa treatments and being allowed to stay in the Presidential suite.

His owner better claim him quick or he won't want to come home!

You can follow Kilronan castle on Facebook here.
