Images of Robbie Williams using hand sanitiser after jumping into the audience while performing live on New Year's Eve have gone viral.
True to Williams form however, his rendition of Come Undone had the crowd singing – and thus swearing – in his place.
Generally, Williams had formed a connection with the audience... which he promptly broke.
As he sang Auld Lang Syne, he leapt into the audience, high-fiveing people left and right.
When he returned to the stage, he rather ruined the gesture by scrubbing his hands with sanitiser, and images of him grimacing after touching the public have gone viral.
Congratulations, Robbie Williams, you are the first celebrity meme of 2017.
