Batman is always the answer, well maybe not

The Reddit thread r/askhistorians has been plagued by users answering questions with Batman quotes.

The community on the popular website Reddit serves as a popular forum for people seeking real information about historical events.

It is a hive of activity for intriguing aspects of history and has nearly 300,000 readers.

Recently a user called Adam-west submitted the question:

 “Why is Fidel Castro so often seen as such a villain and Che Guevara seen as such a hero when they worked side by side on the same campaign?”

Reddit users turned to popular culture for the answer to this question and referenced the highly scientific quote:  

“You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain”

 This was first seen in The Dark Knight, the 2008 Batman film by Christopher Nolan.

Moderators were not pleased and one called henry_fords_ghost posted this exasperated message after eight hours:

The internet can be a frustrating place as this moderator found out
