It seems AA Roadwatch and An Garda Síochána have caught One Direction fever this weekend.

Tweeting information on traffic and weather warnings, they used the boy band’s lyrics to get in the spirit of things.

‘‘1D concert heavy rain showers in Dublin, 2 today please bring suitable rain gear if going to concert. Enjoy "One way or another",’’ tweeted An Garda Síochána.

But AA Roadwatch quickly jumped in, stating they made the joke first.

‘‘Hey @GardaTraffic We'd like to report a theft - we made that joke on Tuesday! It's the "Little Things".’’

Reflecting on the powerful One Direction lyrics Garda Traffic replied,‘‘@aaroadwatch Through the doors & past the guards (wow), Just like she already owned it.,,,,,,, ..., "Never in your wildest dreams."

AA Roadwatch jokingly promised to party in Dublin nightclub Coppers after last night’s concert in Croke Park.

"Cos we danced all night to the best song ever"... see in @CopperFaceJacks later!’’

Today the One Direction lyric war raged on with the AA asking, ‘‘Will there be another face off between @AARoadwatch and @GardaTraffic before tonights #onedirection concert?’’

‘‘They can WATCH &learn We know where it takes us We've been before  Find out what went wrong without blaming each other,’’ tweeted An Garda Síochána.

AA Roadwatch wittingly replied, ‘‘You'd be in-ZAYN to try and challenge us again.’’

‘‘Showers heading on our direction…Story of my Life!  Please bring suitable rain gear if attending the concert  #OneDirection,’’ Gardaí told concertgoers.
