Vodafone Comedy Carnival: Dara O'Briain, Reginald D Hunter, Katy Brand, Rubberbandits and more announced

The full line up for the 2017 Vodafone Comedy Carnival in Galway has been revealed and it's a whopper.

Among the 100 acts will be homegrown talent, Dara O'Briain, Tommy Tiernan, Foil Arms & Hog, David O'Doherty, Rubberbandits and Ardal O'Hanlon.

They'll be joined by international names Kevin Bridges, Jon Richardson, Reginald D Hunter, Rich Hall, Jimeoin and Katy Brand for the festival which runs October 24-30.

Al Porter is broadcasting live from the Edinburgh Fringe on Today FM this week and will have interviews with comedians from the line-up.

The Comedy Carnival is part of Vodafone's Centre Stage and will take place in the Spiegeltent in Galway's Eyre Square for the third year in a row.

Also appearing at the festival will be Al Porter himself, Dermot and Dave, Neil Delamere, David McSavage, Barry Murphy, Katherine Lynch and PJ Gallagher.

Also BGT stars Lords of Strut will perform and there will be stand-up courtesy of Andrew Maxwell, Tom Stade, Francesca Martinez and Colin Murphy.

Fans will also be treated to Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience, Stephen Frost's Impro AllStars, THe Irish Comedian of the Year Grand Final and One Night Stand (scenes from Louis CK's web sitcom Horace & Pete).
