After months of exhausting dance rehearsals, actress Clelia Murphy would have been forgiven for putting her feet up.

However, she has jumped straight from 'Dancing With The Stars' into rehearsals for Maeve Binchy's 'Light A Penny Candle' at the Gaiety Theatre yesterday.

Murphy was eliminated from the show at the weekend after a dance-off with comedian Fred Cooke.

Speaking yesterday as she joined her fellow cast members for rehearsals, Murphy said she wouldn't turn down the offer of a brief return to Carrigstown and 'Fair City' for its 30th birthday this year.

"You'd never say never to these things. There are no plans for it," she said.

"I get messages every day from people wanting her to go back - people had a lot of affection for Niamh."
