From tales about how lives are improved by guide dogs to the experiences of adopted children, TG4 is focusing on powerful stories showing resilience this autumn.

At the schedule launch yesterday were TG4 weather presenters CaitlÍn Nic Aoidh, Mairéad Ní Chuaig and Fiona Ní Flaithearta. They were joined by Evanne Ní Chuilinn, who was adopted as a baby and presents 'Uchtú', which explores the story of adoption.

'Saol an Mhadra Bháin' tells how people's lives are improved by guide dogs and 'Tabú' returns with documentaries looking at homelessness, Direct Provision, and being transgender in Ireland.
