'You do not give up' - Erin McGregor used her DWTS waltz to respond to online trolls' hurtful comments

Erin McGregor used her dance to respond to hurtful comments from online trolls. 

During her Viennese Waltz to ‘You Don’t Own Me’ by Grace featuring G-Eazy hashtags were projected on to the background of the set.

Some of the hashtags included #GetALife, #LeaveItOut, #Cringe, and #Bored.  

Speaking afterwards Erin McGregor said; “I think in 2018 there is a lot of online bullying".

McGregor said the majority of people would have experienced online bullying or know someone who has. 

She said she wanted to show that you “can take the hand of your friend which was Ryan and you dance and you do not give up. No matter what anyone says.” 

Julien Benson encouraged her to ignore the online abuse saying; “This is a social media world, let me just say Hashtag fabulous, forward-slash lovin your work!”
