'Women are more and more trying to do what men do' - Dickie Rock talks gender equality on Living With Lucy

Showband icon Dickie Rock gave his full support to pay equality while filming the latest episode of Living With Lucy.

In a clip released by TV3, the 'Every Step of the Way' singer chatted to hist Lucy Kennedy about the pay gap between men and women in the same working environment.

"You know this thing with the male and the female and all this type of thing that's being stirred up?

"Anybody who is doing the same job, should get payed them same," the veteran entertainer said, with only a little prompting from Lucy herself.

"But, do you know what the problem is? Women are more and more trying to do the jobs that men do," the 79-year-old Cabra man added.

In another clip, Lucy joins Dickie in the recording studio where his is finishing off his newest album. Lucy (41) even got to have a singalong of 'I Got You, Babe', made famous by Sonny and Cher.

Dickie joins a list of famous faces who have taken part in the show, including Katie Hopkins, Michael Healy Rae and Danniella Westbrook.
