Ryan Tubridy found himself in an awkward situation on The Late Late Show on Friday night when he failed spectacularly at making a recipe from Roz Purcell's new book.
Tubridy attempted to make one of Roz's brownie recipes, but the result wasn't as expected.
"My oven isn't really working," he explained.
"A bad tradesman always blames his tools, is that what you're trying to say, Ryan?" quipped the author in response.
In an attempt to salvage his failed attempt, Tubridy said his oven "is 30 degrees ahead of what it should be."
"I'm not very good at sums," he continued.
After producing his flat, burnt brownies from the oven, Tubridy said he wouldn't even feed them to Roz's dog.
"They'd kill him," he said.
"All I'm saying is that everything, you're fine, the book, everything is right, but... the oven."
