A non-binary couple appeared on Good Morning Britain on ITV on Wednesday to talk about their gender and it sparked a heated debate with host Piers Morgan.
Morgan branded the gender of Fox Fisher and Owl Stefania as "a massive fad" and "gobbledigook" and children identifying as non-binary as "a contagion".
The host also said that he completely supports transgender rights for people who feel they were born in the wrong body. However, he said his confusion comes with the "gender neutrality aspect".
On Tuesday Morgan had said he "might wear a skirt to work tomorrow as part of my gender-neutral, non-binary identity" and asked if he could identify as black.

Picking up where he left off today he asked Fox and Owl if he could identify as a black woman..
"If I turned round right now and said I am a black woman... I made a joke yesterday but I'm being partly serious," he said, "If I decided to identify myself as a different skin colour, would you respect that?"
Owl replied, “It doesn’t really change anything about my life how another person identifies, you can identify in any way you want and that’s up to you.”
Owl continued: “The problem is this is a hypothetical intellectual discussion for you, but this is about our actual identity.”

Fox added, “This is our lives, this is every day, not just a four minute segment."
Owl added, “If you truly want to identify in that way, you can, but I know that you don’t. I respect anyone’s right to identify as they want.”

Morgan had previously caused controversy over his views when he condemned Emma Watson's win at the first gender-neutral MTV Movie and TV awards earlier this month.

Morgan then asked if he could identify as an elephant.
The couple told Piers that he was "fear-mongering" and, when speaking about their book, 'Are you a Boy or Are You a Girl' Fox said, "Read the book, it's for three and up, so it should be good for you, Piers."
Many people took to Twitter to voice their outrage over his comments while some tweeted their support to him.
