Fresh from his trip to Ireland, Matt LeBlanc appeared on The Graham Norton Show last night to talk about the new series of Top Gear.

Given Norton is originally from Cork, chat turned to Matt's time in Ireland and in Cork and Kerry.

Norton then flashed up a photo of Matt with Irish woman Lisa Marie Keane who was on a hen with the bride Sarah Jayne Murphy in Kenmare.

"She was with her girlfriend and they were on their way to her hen do, and we were driving up the road and we were at a red light, I think in Dingle, they came over and just took a selfie," revealed Matt.

The group were kitted out in novelty police gear to celebrate and Lisa Marie shared her delighted snap on Twitter, writing: “Thanks for making our hen’s day!!! #kenmare #topgear”.

Graham pointed out that Matt looked genuinely happy in the snap, to which he replied, "She had a very short skirt on."

"You look  suspiciously happy," said Graham.

"More of a belt than a skirt," added Matt.
