Never work with children or animals.

Unfortunately, the This Morning crew on ITV ignored this advice and had some live ponies in studio on Tuesday.

They were very special ponies - Britain's first ever 'guide' ponies - but, like regular ponies, they still need to go to the loo.

As host Philip Schofield asked the guide pony Monet's trainer whether or not they could be house trained, Monet pooped on the rug.

Co-host Holly Willoughby could not compose herself throughout the interview and her tears of laughter caused her mascara to run all over her eyes.

When the trainer said she'd taken Monet out for a cappuchino, Holly asked if they were allowed in coffee shops and creased up again, at which point Philip lost it too.

They're no strangers to the giggles, but this is probably the most they've ever struggled through a segment!
