WATCH: Countdown's Rachel Riley forced to spell out 'bumhole'
Rachel Riley had to contend with yet another embarrassing word on Channel 4 afternoon show Countdown.
Having previously dealt with 'SLUTZ', on Tuesday she had to spell out 'BUMHOLE', which gave everyone a right giggle.
It was, in fact, dictionary corner expert Susie Dent who suggested the word after the contestants had come up with the less embarrassing 'bulge'.
Janet Street Porter was also on dictionary corner but she refused to spell out the word and said, "I can't say it!".
Presenter Nick Hewer said, "Bumhole? It's going to be one of those days is it?
Embarrassing words are becoming more frequent on the show as earlier this year Mylene Klass spelled out "gobsh**e" after the show's two contestants had both put forward the same seven-letter word, "ghosted".
The former HearSay singer told host Nick Hewer: "I got a rude one. It's an eight... gobsh**e" and Susie confirmed it was "chiefly Irish" and "vulgar slang".
Also Dubliner Gerry Tynan and Anne Lewin, from Brighton, both offered up 'erection' as their answer while Hairy Biker Dave Myers offered up the seven-letter word "todgers".
In 2010, the presenters were left red-faced when the letters U, D, F, C, K and E all came up in a selection - but the contestants resisted the temptation to go for the obvious and instead submitted the five-letter words "caged" and "faced".
Countdown is on weekdays at 2.10pm on Channel 4.
