It has been eight years since Sarah Louise Platt (played by Tina O'Brien) waved goodbye to the Corrie cobbles and headed to Milan with her then 7-year-old daughter Bethany.

Leaving a storm of drama in her wake, she planted drugs on her brother David to prevent him getting a job, and it looks like her return will be just as dramatic.

A new teaser trailer has been released giving Corrie fans a taster of what to expect on the soap over the next month, and Sarah-Louise's return is included.

Now Gail McIntyre's (played by Helen Worth) eldest daughter is set to make a dramatic return, with 13-year-old Bethany in tow and the clip shows Sarah-Louise storming into her mother's house and screaming, 'How dare you?', presumably to wild-child Bethany.

Tina O'Brien's character was hugely popular on the show and was never far from controversy, no more so than back in 2000 when she fell pregnant at the age of just 13.  She's returning at a time when David's girlfriend Kylie is battling her very real drug problem.
