Bono revealed that glaucoma is the reason why he always wears shades on the Graham Norton Show on Friday night, but that didn't stop the host making fun of him anyway.

Graham gifted the band with various shades - The Edge's featured flashing lights, Adam's featured guitars, Larry's had a moustache, and  Bono's were enormous.

The U2 frontman then swapped shades with fellow guest, Robert Downey Jr, who was in turn joined on the sofa by The Judge co-star Robert Duvall.  Stephen Fry was also a guest.

Graham also showed early promotional images of the band from the 80s and, unsurprisingly, they were hilarious.
