TV presenter Emma Buckley to seek investment in company on this week's Dragons' Den
TV presenter Emma Buckley will be using those presentation skills in a different way on Dragon's Den on Sunday night.
Emma, who presented Ireland AM on TV3 and a range of programmes on RTE prior to moving to the US where she worked with PBS, is also a nutritionist.
And its in this guise she'll be appearing on the next episode of Dragons' Den.
Emma will appear with her brother Robert in an effort to secure investment in their healthy eating company Gourmet Fuel.
They will be seeking an investment of €100,000 for a 10% share in the company, which aims to provide "health conscious individuals with the advice, food and training needed to achieve any goal".
A team of professionals including chefs and fitness consultants help people with weight loss, muscle gain, training for an event, rehabilitation and overall wellbeing.
Also featuring in the episode is Brigid McBride, a retired maths teacher who has invented a maths instrument, The Poly Math.
She has invested €30,000 of her own money and is looking for the same amount from the Dragons for a 10% share.
Stephen and Aisling Power, meanwhile, believe their bespoke handmade shirt and suit company, Devils Edge, is worth a €70,000 investment for a 20% share.
Finally, Eoin Heverin from Castlebar wants €40,000 for a 20% share in his company, TellMyStoryBook.ie.
Eoin superimposes children's faces onto the main character of his story books.
Dragons Alison Cowzer, Eleanor McEvoy, Gavin Duffy, Barry O'Sullivan and Eamonn Quinn will be back to deliver their verdicts on RTE One, Sunday May 1, at 9.30pm.
