This Love Island contestant was linked to Prince Harry but doesn't want to be known as 'Harry's girl'
Love Island's lovely female contestants may be looking for their 'prince', but it seems one of them has already locked lips with a real live prince.
Camilla Thurlow was linked with Prince Harry in July 2014 when it was reported that she had kissed the fifth in line to the throne at Tonteria nightclub in Sloane Square.
He had recently split with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
However, it looks like the 27-year-old's dalliance with Harry was short-lived as she says she has been single for four years.
“I think it is the chance of finding love and seeing what it would be like to have a good relationship with someone,” she said of her decision to apply for the ITV show.
And she doesn't want her past to interfere with finding love in the present.
"I don’t want anything in my past to affect the possibility of that happening," she told Mirror Online.
"If someone on the show asks about it, I don’t really talk about exes anyway, I don’t like that you’re speaking for both parties and I’m quite private about that sort of thing."
She also said she doesn't want to be known as 'Harry's girl.'
"I worry I’ll be that," she added, "But this is a good opportunity to show people what I’m about," she said.
“It’s been so long since I had something that had any potential for going anywhere."
And she doesn't exactly consider her kiss with Prince Harry as her claim to fame. That goes to her achievements in lacrosse...
“I don’t think it’s my claim to fame but my proudest achievement was playing lacrosse for Scotland in the junior world championships,” she said.
“That’s stuck with me as being an important moment. I’m really competitive but it channels itself in certain ways."
