'The Windmill Lane Sessions' profiling 39 top Irish and international artists airs on TG4 tonight

Interviews and performances from artists including Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Paul Brady, Declan O'Rourke, Damien Dempsey, Sharon Corr and more

A new series profiling some of the best Irish and international music acts kicks off on TG4 tonight.

The Windmill Lane Sessions, in association with, boasts candid interviews and performances of original material as well as covers from 39 artists.

Each performance is recorded and each interview filmed in the environment the artists call home - the recording studio, in this case the iconic Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin.

Aoife Scott presents the show, which aims to give viewers the chance to hear and see their favourite musicians recorded live and unvarnished.

The first instalment of the 13 episode series launches tonight (Thursday September 24) with Declan O'Rourke, The Beau Motives and Brian Kennedy.

Next week brings sessions with Damien Dempsey, Hot Sprockets, and Lethal Dialect while other artists to feature throughout the series include the brilliant Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Paul Brady, Mick Flannery, Ryan Sheridan, Wyvern Lingo, Sharon Corr and more.

The Windmill Lane Sessions, in association with, broadcasts on TG4 every Thursday night at 11.30pm.
