The Voice UK finalist Lucy O'Byrne will have some fellow Dubliners on hand to offer support during the live final as The Script will perform.

Coach Ricky Wilson of The Kaiser Chiefs and presenter Emma Willis revealed on The One Show that both The Script and Paloma Faith will take to the stage of the BBC show on Saturday night.

The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue was a coach on The Voice UK for the show's first two series so he may be able to offer Lucy, who is on team Will, some extra advice.

Lucy will be up against Emmanuel Nwamadi, Sasha Simone and Stevie McCrorie in the battle to win.

They have each recorded their version of 'Lost Stars', the Oscar-winning song from John Carney's Begin Again, which Adam Levine sang at this year's Oscars.

The winner's version will be released at midnight on Saturday and they will also sign with Universal Music and proceeds from the single will go to the BBC's Performing Arts Fund.
